EXHAUSTED – but oh so worth it.
As the 2017 TransWorld Halloween & Attractions show came to a close, I had the privilege to sit down with the show promoters.
We discussed everything from the Speed Seminars through Saturday nights Voodoo Soirée.
BUT WAIT…there’s more.
They allowed this “Haunt Geek” a look into the future…to the 2018 Trans World Halloween & Attractions Show.
Strap up my fellow Haunt Geeks, as I share with you the highlights of TransWorld 2017 as well as some of the future plans for this “little thing of ours” we call “Haunting”.
This years Trade Show floor was bigger and frankly, better than ever before. The producers goal for next year…make it BIGGER and BETTER.
My reaction…wow and how.
The Seminars… where Learning = Earning, were a huge Success…at the time of this interview, the producers were all ready at work planning seminar topics that their attendees said they want in the future…I don’t know about you, but for me, that shows the length they will go to…to give us what we want. Kudos to TransWorld.
There will be another 61 ideas in 60 minutes seminar…only this time…it will focus on acting…and the 3 BEST speakers of this years show have already agreed to present on this topic in 2018…
I can’t say who…yet…but as actor trainers go, there’s no one better on this planet that I can think of to teach this seminar…Yes, I am Geeked.
Lastly, the Voodoo Soirée…what an awesome night, where Haunters from around the globe could get together and enjoy the shared fellowship of the tie that binds us all…Haunting.
How cool was it to see Haunt owners side by side on the dance floor with Haunt actors, Make-up artist, Home Haunters, Vendors and everyone else…all night long?
Of course, the biggest surprise of the entire show was when they introduced the Host for the evening…
Haunt News Network’s very own “Sketchy”. I honestly had goosebumps when he took the stage.
Additionally, this Geek has learned that the Saturday Night Party will return again in 2018…the theme will change and possibly the venue…SO THEY CAN KEEP COSTS DOWN…
The Producers hope they can get Sketchy back as well… however they understand he is one busy clown.
So keep an eye out here for any & all exclusive insights to next years show…We will announce the 2018 party theme soon.
That way everyone will have time to work on their evenings apparel for what will surely be the party of the year.
Don’t forget…keep those letters to Sketchy coming and comment here with any of your thoughts on what TransWorld can do to make the show even better. I honestly don’t see how they can.
