HIRING – MAKEUP
Pennhurst is currently in the market for a skilled haunt makeup artist with prior management experience to assume the role of Makeup Manager.
This is a contracted position.
Haunt makeup experience required.
Haunt makeup management experience required.
A potential applicant will possess:
– a degree in makeup and / or special effects or equivalent experience in the haunt / horror world.
– extensive understanding of all aspects of haunt / horror makeup including water based, grease based, alcohol based and airbrush makeup application.
– vast experience with prosthetic creation, design and application
– organizational skill set for the smooth operation of the busy haunt makeup environment including interviewing, assistance with hiring of makeup artists, scheduling, ordering and organization of supplies, training, and overall duties.
– artistic experience in the creation of prosthetics, masks, wigs, look book, complementation of the costume department, etc…
Salary is commensurate upon experience and is open to negotiation.
